A Call To Arms

Touch! Embrace! Live!
For the union of Man and Woman is the completion of the universe;
Without the other, each half is left open; vulnerable and bleeding -
All the more, for its counterpart is always so achingly near and possible,
But this sacred union is fragmented by Fear.
For to feel the greatest love in one's heart is also to experience its most
      knifing loneliness.
To live with joy is also to lay down a bed for sorrow.
To realise the deepest powers of the mind is also to know the darkest terrors
      of the soul.
But the union of pain and ecstacy is in itself an act of Love.
To consummate this union is to know Life.
