Somebody's Birthday

I was crankin' up my millionth Rolling Stones record
When a Keith Richards riff sliced through my brain -
Or that's what the critic said anyway
(Dunno if it's true since my brain's half gone).

I was looking through the pages of Billboard -
They say that music is just for financial gain,
And Warner Brothers owns it all anyway
(But I can't sing about it since this ain't my song).

I was looking to reap life's rewards
Surprised to uproot all the pain,
But everyone just buries it anyway
(Can't do nothing about it since there's nothing wrong).
